Great Tips to Help You Improve Your Golf Game
Golf is all about the swing. If you have the right swing your golf game is going to be great if your swing is weak or wobbly your golf game is going to suffer, it is as simple as that. Learning to swing the golf club is not only the most important thing that you need to do to improve your golf game it is also the hardest.
Not everyone can just pick up a golf club and swing like a pro, for most of us the golf club is gong to feel awkward at first and swinging it properly is gong to be a long way off. Your hands need to be as one when you are gripping your golf club. Your golf game is going to be at its best when your hands are working together to bring about the smoothest and most accurate swing. There is more than one way to grip a golf club but remember to keep your hands working as one unit and you will have a much better golf game for it.
What kind of grip pressure are you usually working with in your golf game? You don’t want to be gripping your golf club too tight as this will take away much of the power that is, or at least that should be, in your golf game. You need the flexibility that a lighter grip will give you. This does not mean that you should let the club fly out of your hands or anything but you need to be able to use a little wrist in the swing, the wrist hinge is a wonderful source of the swing power and this is what will be best for anyone’s golf game.
With a lighter grip your golf game will be better in other ways as well. For example you will have more clubface rotation, which gives you a better shot at squaring the club. This is essential to a good golf game so keep this in mind the next time y9u are taking a shot.

Golf Club Shafts: So Important to Winning
This article dwells into the importance of the golf
club shaft in the game, and lists the most important
considerations.
Steel or Graphite Golf Club Shaft?
The two most important parts of the golf club which
can spell the difference between winning and losing
are the head and the shaft. The shaft of the golf club
connects the grip to the head. Most modern golf club
shafts are made of either steel or graphite.
Most manufacturers rate their shafts in one of six
degrees of stiffness. From least to most stiff these
are: Ladies (L); Seniors (A); Regular (R); Firm (F);
Extra Firm (X); and Stiff (S).
Most golfers prefer a shaft that is stiffer, and
manufacturers can only oblige. If you make the shaft
super stiff, however, you can begin to affect distance
and strength negatively.
Then there’s the difference between steel and graphite
golf shafts. Generally, if you have back problems or
not very confident with the strength of your swing or
drive, you should stick with the graphite variety.
Graphite golf club shafts reduce the weight of your
club (you can really feel the difference if you’ve
used steel shafts before). They weigh between 50-85
grams, while their steel counterparts generally start
at 120 grams. Graphite shafts reduce the shock at
impact. They also allow for longer clubs. But
remember, longer clubs are good for distance, not for
control.

The Power of A Golf Training Club
Some golfer’s idea of a golf training club is using their usual set of clubs to hit balls on the course the whole day.
This sort of thinking is borrowed from other sports where the most effective way of improving a person’s game and level of fitness in it is to play the said game as much as possible.
Sadly this golf exercise technique of training using an ordinary golf club will just not work in golf. One of the reasons is the fact the golf swing hardly lasts a second and for this reason the muscles involved hardly get any exercise or conditioning when you play the game. They mostly get strained and injured if you do not exercise.
This where a special golf training club comes in. I have found the weighted club to be very effective as a golf training club. This special club allows a golfer to go through the motions of the golf swing, only with a heaver weight than usual and is very effective in strengthening and conditioning golf specific muscles involved.
Many golfers tend to be sceptical about golf training equipment or gadgets aimed at improving a persons’ game. This is hardly surprising because many golfers will point you to their garages full of golf equipment that the salesperson at the shop promised would do miracles to their game.
Instead, in some cases they find that the golf aid actually made their game worse.
This is really why it helps to seek expert advice when purchasing any sort of golf aid equipment or gadget.
It also helps to know what particular weakness you have in your game.

Golf Club Clones Offer Performance And Affordability
Knock off golf clubs are a great way to get the best bang for your buck without jeopardizing the quality of your clubs. Also known as golf club clones, these very sophisticated clubs are manufactured using the same materials and technology as popular brands such as TITLEIST, TAYLORMADE, PING and CALLAWAY. These are just a few examples of popular brands you will find that you can compare to cloned golf clubs. Knock off golf clubs are much more affordable and offer equal or better performance.
Knock off golf clubs and golf club clones are not cheap clubs. You will be surprised at how attractive they are and the results you will get from them will boost your game confidence. Lets face it, with confidence in your game and equipment, you have a great formula for shedding strokes off of your game. Why pay twice the price for the same golf clubs? If performance, playability and affordability are more important than a brand name, then cloned golf clubs may be the right option for you.

Golf Dust Training – No Sweat
Maybe you are a new golfer and have been performing pitifully? You are a disgrace to your mates, and they barely want to invite you out to crazy golf, much less the golf course. What actions can you take to save yourself further humiliation? Well you could resort to video golf, or you can invest in some training aides to begin the process of salvaging the remainder of your dignity and pride. But which tools could you use to even start to use to assist your sad, sad game? Maybe you can buy a training DVD? You have heard of an inexpensive method that may just do the trick, golf dust training.
Golf dust training sounds like something fictional, as if the golf fairy came by your house one day and gave you a pouch full of golf dust to sprinkle on your clubs in case of emergency bad games. Well, the golf dust is one of those training aides that are meant to improve your game by applying the powder to your club face. Some people claim that the use of golf dust has improved their swing vastly in short periods of time.

The Biomechanics Of A Golf Swing Can Teach You Plenty
The biomechanics of the golf swing can be very revealing about the game of golf and specifically the scientific difference between amateurs and professionals, winners and losers.
But what is biomechanics?
Biomechanics or Motion Capture Technology (MOCAP) is the mechanical analysis of body motion. Studying and understanding the physics of a golf swing by analyzing the biomechanics of the golf swing can be very revealing. This is usually achieved with the help of high speed video technology.
The twisting golf swing produces torque on the golf club. The greatest determinant on how far you will hit the ball lies in the speed at which the club will be moving at, as it connects with the ball at the bottom of your swing. The faster your club will be going at the bottom of your swing, the greater the amount of kinetic energy that will be transferred from the club head to the ball and the further the ball will go.
Results from the close study of the biomechanics of a golf swing indicate some fascinating facts. For instance professional golfers can generally achieve a club head speed of 100 M.P.H. at the bottom of their swing. Fascinatingly, however, legendary golfer Tiger Woods can reach upto 125 M.P.H.
How does Tiger do it?
Most people do not remember the dramatic entry of this amazing golfer into the game at the tender age of 20. As studies in the biomechanics of a golf swing have clearly proved, Tiger is responsible for taking the golf game into a new level. For the first time there was a golfer on the world stage who took their fitness very seriously and exercised regularly. And not just any exercise, but exercises in a program that was golf-specific.
