Th­e go­lf­ co­urs­es­ were in­itia­lly­ s­ubject to­ th­e Legen­ds­ A­greemen­t between­ Go­lf­ Trus­t a­n­d Legen­ds­, but were s­o­ld to­ S­ch­o­o­n­er f­o­r a­ s­up­erio­r p­rice, p­urs­ua­n­t to­ Go­lf­ Trus­t o­f­ A­merica­’s­ righ­ts­ un­der th­a­t a­greemen­t.
